There’s plenty of food in the world, for people to feed
But millions are starving because of corporations of greed
We got a war on terror, a war on poverty
A war on drugs, war for security
A war on AIDS, wars for peace
Wars to prevent wars, what the hell are we fighting for
It seems the more we fight, the more it ain’t right,
So tell me, what the hell are we fighting for
And who are all these guys, with the scandals and lies
Rippin’ us off with their suits and ties
Politicians and bankers, it’s no surprise
We all know the game, when we open our eyes
Yet some of you are still saying, I’m just a man in the street
Working like a dog, trying to make ends meet
Let me tell you, the world don’t jive with that kind of negativity
We goota reflect within ourselves and find our spirituality
